Can you use a chat-pad for a Xbox 360 controller on pc?

Ok I like to use my 360 controller to play like Batman Arkham games and minecraft and others. But I would I like to be able to google search something without typing one letter at a time using some on screen keyboard. So if you guys have any idea let me know.

P.S. - I also use it from a couch a lot too so I cant just use a normal keyboard and even if I got a wireless keyboard it wouldn't be as easy to use.
