I have Powerline in my home. I want to be able to broadcast wifi from the Ethernet port in my room, instead of using a booster or installing another coaxial cable. The main wifi network downstairs doesn't reach the fourth floor. Are there routers that use Ethernet as a source? If not, what is the closest alternative/best option? Thank you!

Yes.
You can get a Wifi router that has ethernet port.

You run it in Access Point mode.

It then gives you Wifi cover that then feeds down to your main router via ethernet.

I use a pair of ASUS RT-AC68U to do exactly this.
