Can you use a prebuilt cooler (ex. H115i) with a different waterblock/pump?

Hey, I was wondering if you could use one of Corsair/another brand's prebuilt coolers (just the rad and tubes) but have a different pump/block? I have a strange application (Thermoelectric cloud chamber for radioactive particle research) and this would save me a few hundred bucks on a custom watercooling loop for it. I have a large amount of computer know-how but it came across me as a possibility. Thanks for any help!

Once you remove the pump and water block from an AIO cooling solution it turns it into a basic radiator. Just be sure that the connectors will fit the ID of the hoses before you actually start cutting.

Is it possible? for sure it is just be sure the pump, reservoir and connections will work with the radiator and hose diameter.

Thanks, I just wanted to check before I went through with it. I'll get a res, pump, some connectors, a waterblock, and clear tubing from EKWB and hook those up to it and I should be good to go!
