Can you use dpc3825 only as an Ethernet bridge?

I have a Cisco dpc3825 modem+ wifi, it's my extra. I would like to know if it's at all possible to use it solely as a router. Like this modem wired to router wireless to dpc3825 wired ps3.

I want to use it as an Ethernet bridge so I can enjoy wireless n speeds on my ps3, which is limited wireless g.

Cisco dpc3825 has bridge mode disabled by most of the ISPs with their specialized firmware. You would need to check and see if there is a bridge mode tab in the configuration (which is unlikely but possible), or try to find alternate firmware.
