Recently i heard that Corsair and asus came together so you can use iCUE on aura sync motherboards, i can't seem to grasp it's meaning so can someone clarify what it means? Does it mean that i can use iCUE on my pc components that are compatible with aura sync (deepcool and gskill) or that i can use aura sync on Corsair products? Im asking because I'm buying a Corsair K70 rapidfire and a Corsair scimitar pro RGB so I'd like to know which way the wind blows

I think it just lets Icue control the RGB on the Asus Aura motherboards and possibly other Asus hardware

Well, to put it simply, we use the ASUS Aura SDK to talk to the onboard lighting controller on ASUS Aura Ready motherboards. A plugin is used for maintenance reasons as we aim to keep compatibility with newer versions of Aura (to include future motherboard releases or other products) as they come out.

I don't know about expanding it to control other companies hardware - you would have to try as if they worked with Aura, it might work
I don't think it let you use Corsair gear using Aura sync, it appears it only in one direction.

GPU should come with armory crate so can use Icue to run it on a non Asus board: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/a...SUS-graphics-card-lighting-in-iCUE-4-or-newer
