Can you use the deskjet 340 infrared adapter with windows 7?

I'm trying to install the HP deskjet 340 with the infrared adapter with a windows 7 operating system. The install disk with the adapter is not compatible with windows 7. HP does not have a driver to download. Windows 7 won't locate the printer on it's own. Please help!

Have you verified compatibility at the Microsoft Windows Compatibility center available here: http://bit.ly/1gW6Ns

If Windows 7 did not automatically detect the drivers needed for the printer, then it is possible that your printer may not be compatible with Windows 7.
