Question Can you use your phone as an additional PC display without using a third party app?

All of the YouTube tutorials I've watched uses third party apps. Can this be done by just using an hdmi to usb c cable? (or hdmi cable and usb c to hdmi converter)

No, because phones don't have an HDMI input. Or any display input.
