1. Is this a good system? Any issues you see?
2. Also, I will be using Windows 7 RC as my primary operating system. Is this a good idea?
3. And how's this looking for a potential overclocker?
4. One 640GB hard drive, or two smaller hard drives in Raid 0? Can I always add a second 640 GB later on and configure it to Raid 1 without re-doing everything?

2. I've been using Windows 7 RC as my primary OS for a week or two. Through gaming and other stuff, no hiccups!
4. One 640GB please. And yes, afaik.

3. It has the SB750 and it's Gigabyte, should be fine to OC.

I don't see a PSU yet...

Sorry for the confusion. Proximon, I have a 600 watt OCZ GameXStream that has two PCI-E 6 pin connections if needed for crossfire, plus 4 12V lines. Thanks for all the advice guys!

I currently have the opportunity to pick a MSI 4830 1GB for $99.99 Canadian. Surely the better deal no?

Your setup looks good.

Yes the HD 4830 at $100 is a better deal than the HD 4770 at $135 (which is not even in stock yet at that Infonec site). They are pretty much the same card, except that the HD 4770 uses 40nm technology and that makes it a bit cooler and saves a few watts.

You could save $30 with an Antec 300 case.

Edit: and I wouldn't bother with RAID, either 0 or 1, for the uses you listed there. One 640GB drive is just fine. Make a 100GB partition for Win 7 to keep it clean and separate, maybe.
