Question Can'get 1440p on Windows but in Ubuntu I can.

I Have an AOC Q3279VWF monitor which will work in 1440p resolution, It's plugged in an APU from AMD the Radeon 8470D unsing HDMI.
I know it's a crappy graphics card but the thing is that under Ubuntu I get 1440p but when I installed Windows 10 I can't get 1440p, it won't get passed from 1080p. I updated Windows and installed the drivers for the monitor and still nothing. Thanks

So, maybe there is time to switch to Linux ?
Btw : there is many other distros out there than Ubuntu :

Aside from that : You may try to remove the GPU drivers and install an older version to see if that may work.
