Are you using and have you always used Canon ink?

Plagerism - the question during the McCarthy witch hunts was "are you now or
have you ever been a member of the Communist party? Measekite asks everyone
with a printer problem if they use non-OEM inks. Just looking frantically
to bolster his biased, inexperienced opinion that printers only have head
clogs with aftermarket inks.

Judy - go on to the following two sites and read their information about
printer maintenance (primarily Canons). First read their cleaning
suggestiong and then, if you still have questions or a continuing problem,
sign in and ask any questions you have on the Nifty-stuff forum. You should
try one deep cleaning cycle before you do any of the more involved cleaning
tasks and then run the printhead test. Of course, the other problem might
be a cartridge that isn't feeding ink properly, so it would also be wise to
try a new cartridge before doing anything more complex.

Although there are some poor quality aftermarket inks you should avoid, head
clogs can occur with OEM and non-OEM inks. Best to study these sites and be
more educated with regard to avoiding the problem as much as possible and
fixing it when it happens.

Translation: Judy used genuine Canon OEM inks and the printhead clogged.

OEM ink promoter Measekid's in shock. The world awaits his response in
hushed silence.... not.
