Hi

I have removed windows 8 and reverted back to windows 7. everything works fine, except for the fact that i cannot access my bios. So far i have tried F2, F10 and del, but they do not work. does anyone have a suggestion why i cannot access my bios?
kind regards
bossie

Make sure to physically power off the unit and then power it on as per instructions.
are you using a wireless keyboard or wired. if it wireless it may not post in time for the mb to see you hitting your key stokes. if it wires see if your keyboard in a usb 3.0 or 2.0 port. try usb 2.0 black port. with msi and some mb if you have fast boot turned on you need to download there bios tool that when clicked and the pc rebooted forece the mb to go into the bios. if you dont have quick boot on. try clearing the cmos and see if the mb goes into the bios.

Ok, so powered off, as per instruction, but then when I boot the laptop, F2 only brings me to the 'Windows Boot Manager' and not the bios. I remembered that i had to disable UEFI settings in windows 8 to install 7, can that have anything to do with my 'missing' bios? thanks in advance

I came across this bit of information:

To try F2 or F3 first to get into the UEFI BIOS. If that doesn't work then try the assist button.

I'm not sure what that button is.
