Cannot Add Photoshop/Illustrator to Default Programs

Hello,

I'm trying to get my PSD/JPEG/PNG documents to open with Adobe Photoshop but for some reason it will not show up in the list when I right click > open with. I have tried to browse to the .exe but for some reason nothing happens. It will not open the image or add Photoshop to the list. All the other Adobe programs like premiere pro, after effects etc.. show up fine. Only photoshop and illustrator are not working.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

You need to use regedit for it to work.

Must try this solution.

Tried all of above, but still problem did not resolved. And finally got my own solution.
First locate the file "Photoshop.exe" on "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\" folder. Then just rename the "Photoshop.exe" file to "Adobe Photoshop CC 2019.exe" (I am using cc 2019 version). and save it .
Done.
You have to just delete the old short cut on desktop and recreate the shortcut .
