cannot add to domain

I have 3 server WIn NT server 4.0. 1 PDC and 2 BDC.
Suddenly my PDC failure, so I promote 1 of my BDC as PDC.
Then the failure PDC I reformat and make it as BDC. My
problem is I cannot add to the domain, Message
prompt 'The Domain controller for this domain cannot be
located'. FYI, I'am use same server name. What should I
do?. Did i need to do something in my current PDC that I
promote from BDC to PDC before.Help me?....

If you are running WINS make sure the new BDC is
configured to point towards your WINS server. Also
make sure you open the WINS database and sort by
name then delete all instances of the old PDC name.

BTW since you are using the same name as your
existing PDC did you first remove that name from
server manager?
