cannot boot from a usb to install freeNas on old intel motherboard

i am attempting to install FreeNas onto a computer, however whenever i attempt to boot off my usb i get the message "no bootable device insert -- bootdisk and press any key".

I tried booting off the usb on my other computer, and it did work.

The motherboard in the system which won't boot off the usb is an intel dg33tl.

is there anyway to boot off the usb or can this motherboard just not boot off a usb?

It should, you may need to enter the bios and add USB to the list of bootable devices.

Is "Boot USB Devices First" enabled? Is the USB available if you press F10 (boot menu) at POST?
