Hi there, so as the title says I'm having a bit of an issue booting my VM up with Windows 10.

I have an early release version of 10 that we got at work, so that we can get acclimated before any migration occurs. The problem is, the higher up that gave me the copy just gave me files 😵'

I'm used to picking apart Linux distro images and saving them to Zips to compress them, but I literally have never done this with a windows "OS". I tried using WinIso and PowerISO to make the image files and boot them into a VM, but it doesn't have "Boot Information" as I've read. I need to include that in the ISO file, so it will boot it. The problem is, I don't know where to begin haha

Just as a bit of information that might help, I'm running:
Intel i7 3930k
64GB DDR3 RAM
2x Nvidia Geforce 780's
EVGA socket 2011 Mobo

Just as a side note. I would ask one of my colleagues, but I'm one of the few Windows SA's that got this and I don't really converse with other SA's unless on a project; I'm a bit stuck in that respect =P
I've never had a problem with my ESXI or any VM's on this machine. Any help is greatly appreciated, its probably really simple but you won't know until you ask. Thanks guys!

If you have the files I mentioned in the post before you can use ImgBurn to create the ISO or DVD using the instructions on following page (http://www.pagestart.com/win8esdtodvd11041201.html). It's for Windows 8 but should work for Windows 10 aswell.
What files do you have?

The structure should show like this:
boot (directory)
efi (directory)
sources (directory)
support (directory)
autorun.inf
bootmgr
bootmgr.efi
setup.exe

This is what is inside the ISO file. For booting from a usb drive you only need to copy all these files to the stick and it boots, don't need any fancy stuff. So I'd guess booting from a dvd shouldn't be that much different. If you have these files packing them into a iso file and mounting it should work.

Edit. Well that just packing the files to a ISO doesn't work.
