From what I can see, I've already enabled 2133 MHz in the BIOS. The total memory displays 2133 but just under the DRAM information it displays "DIMM_A1: G-Skill 8192MB 1333MHz" and "DIMM_A2: G-Skill 8192MB 1333MHz". ALSO in Task Manager it's showing 1333 MHz as well.

I'm using G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000).

Link to the RAM: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301958827991?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

AMD A10-7870K supported memory is DDR3-2133 with no overclock. Memory for OC is DDR3 2400.

A88XM-A supports AMD Memory Profile (AMP) memory, but does not offer XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) support. You will need to manually set the:
1) Memory Clock
2) DRAM Timings
3) DRAM Voltage

Download motherboard manual. turn to page 2-13.
First, 2.5.1 Change AI Overclock Tuner to [Manual] from [Auto].

Next, 2.5.2 Change Memory Frequency to [DDR3-2133MHz] from [Auto].

Next, page 2-14
2.5.6 DRAM Timing Control
The memory is rated at Tested Latency 10-12-12-31-2N
Set CAS# Latency to 10
set next number to 12
set next number to 12
set next number to 31
set Command Rate to 2 or 2N

Next, page 2-14
Change DRAM Voltage to 1.60v

Save & Exit BIOS. Done!

I've followed your instructions exactly but it still shows that the speed is only 1333 MHz in Task Manager.

Although in CPU-Z it shows 2133 MHz but only single channel ram. ALSO: Bios recognizes that there is 2 sticks of ram installed but is only using one of them...so instead of showing 16GB like it should it only displays 8GB.

I can't seem to find the problem.

It's already running the latest BIOS. I'm using the correct slots and I've even tried variations.

I'm pretty sure energy saving mode isn't being used. Where would I find that?

EPU is asus exclusive feature for balancing wattage consumption without sacrificing performance, what puzzled me is that how win 10 detect 8 instead of 16 GB if you correctly put 16 GB kit on slot_1 and slot_2 or slot_3 and slot_4, and only single channel! even though gskill doesn't enlist A88XM-A on their f3-2133c10d-16gxm QVL neither asus doesn't enlist f3-2133c10d-16gxm on their A88XM-A QVL.

I'm just as confused as you are bud.
