My power supply: Seasonic FOCUS+ 650 Gold (SSR-650FX)
My motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING
I cannot find a cable that will allow me to connect the power supply to the motherboard's 8-pin EATX12V power connector. I have linked to a page from the motherboard manual that describes this I power connector:

I tried to use one of the supplied PCI-E 6+2 cables, but it will not fit in the connector. The problem is with the +2 part of the plug: one of the connectors has a plastic ridge alongside the plug that prevents it from fitting in the socket. Here is a picture of the connector with an arrow showing this ridge:

The PS didn't come with any other cables that would appear to fit this socket. Will I have to return this power supply? If so, is there a power supply out there with an appropriate cable? Thanks for any help. This is very frustrating.
