Cannot connect to internet via wifi

Hi ,

I have windows 10 installed with all the latest updates . For the past few days , any network activity related to windows such as installing windows updates , downloading from store , connecting to one note or any other application is not working through my wifi . Other applications which aren't working are updating kaspersky database , connecting to EA origin .
However , browsing the internet works just fine .

Now , here's the funny part -- if I connect my phone to my wifi and use usb tethering , then all the above work fine .

Here's what I have done so far --

  forgetting wifi network and adding it back .
  ipconfig/flushdns
  ipconfig /registerdns
  ipconfig /release
  ipconfig /renew

I would prefer not to rollback to a restore point .

Restore point might be your best chance. It sounds like you have a virus that is blocking updates to windows and AV.
