Hi Everyone,
I have two Windows 7 computers connected to the same Workgroup (I have double checked the Workgroup name and it is the same on both computers). One Windows 7 computer is 32 bit, the other is 64 bit.
To the W7 32 bit computer I have connected a Kyocera FS-2000D printer, and further to this I have installed additional drivers (for 64 bit printing). Finally I have setup the printer to be shared across the Workgroup.
When I attempt to install the printer onto the 64 bit computer I am met with the error message below.
Obviously there is more than one way to connect to a printer in Windows 7; when attempting to "auto-connect" the printer is not listed, so I choose "The printer I want is not listed", I then put in "\\computer name\printer share name", and attempt to connect this way.
If anybody knows the cause of this error message, and more importantly how to overcome it can you please share your wisdom?
Kind Regards,
Davo
