[SOLVED] Cannot detect 2nd SSD on Disk management or BIO

I currently have asus prime b560m-a mother board with a 512GB Intel 660P M.2 NVMe SSD. I bought a Samsung 970 EVO plus m.2 1TB for extra storage, but I cant find it on the BIO's or the disk management. I don't think its a seating issue, I've removed/installed multiple times. Is it a issue with the 2nd M.2 Slot?

What model cpu are you using?
With 10th gen cpu only single M.2 slot is available.

If you have 11th gen cpu installed, then make sure sata controller is set to AHCI (and not Intel RST with Optane).

The M2_1 is disabled with that CPU.

You can install second M.2 drive on M.2 pcie adapter.
