Cannot drag shortcut to desktop

Cannot drag new shortcuts to desktop.
They simply dissapear after 1-2 seconds.
The existing shortcuts works, but if I try to change their position, they dissapear too.
My OS is Win XP SP3
Please help...

Download malwarebytes and run a full scan on your system. This sounds like malware.
