Question Cannot enable Freesync from laptop's HDMI ?

I just bought the Gigabyte g27F and it has freesync premium and setting is turned on in monitor settings.

I can only connect rtx3050 laptop through hdmi cable from box to port1

But i dont see the sync option anywhere in nvidia control panel, no settings found under 3d management (from Tom's guide)

Am i missing something? Hdmi version maybe ?

Check your firmware version. There is a firmware update f06 for that particular model...

I had to install osd stick in order to check version of formware and its already preinstalled with f06
So everything stays same

Sorry - Just re-read your initial post - Freesync is for AMD Video Cards, not NVidia. the RTX3050 does not support FreeSync

Like gsync / freesync adaptive compatible?

I could be out of date but when I looked at this over a year ago G-Sync on a Freesync monitor only worked when using display port and not hdmi. There was an exception that a few TV’s allowed this function when using HDMI 2.1 (original standard, not the new changed standard). Do you have displays port on the laptop?

Found this, it does say it must be display port. I know this isn’t true for TV’s with HDMI 2.1 but I believe it is still correct for monitors.

Not sure if the new drivers made it possible, but that the GTX3050 doesn't even mention freesync. Adaptive Freesync is only via a display port on NVidia cards.
