Hey all, I've run into a rather confusing dilemma that I have been unable to solve for the past hour and a half. I just recently purchased the G-Sync 2560x1440 monitor from Acer and have tried to set up G-Sync on it to no avail. When I open the Nvidia Control Panel and click on "Set up G-SYNC" I have Enable G-SYNC already tick-marked, but underneath it, I have the following message:

"To enable G-SYNC on G-SYNC capable monitor do the following:
1. Set the G-SYNC capable display as the primary display on Set up multiple displays page"

This is where I get lost. My Acer is already set as my primary display, yet I can't move further with the G-SYNC process, as my only options in my global settings in regards to V-Sync are to either keep it on or off. What can I do to solve this problem? Thank you.

Uninstall all GPU drivers using a program called Display Driver Uninstaller. EVEN do a clean install for AMD drivers just in case. Reboot & and reinstall the latest Nvidia driver. Reboot again and re-try via the Nvidia control panel.

Ensure that ONLY the acer monitor is connected. You can set it as a primary display after if you wish. Get it working on its own first.

Ensure that you are using a DisplayPort cable, and NOT hdmi or some other form of input.
