I just got the S2716DG monitor for Christmas and was excited for G-SYNC. I got everything setup and at the bottom of the monitor configuration menu it said "2560x1440p 144hz G-SYNC mode". Later the next day I noticed I was playing at 90 and having some tearing/stuttering. I checked and on the monitor menu it said it was on Normal mode. In the Nvidia control panel it is enabled so i dont know how to enable it on the monitor. Can anyone help?

Ok making sure, HDMI doesn't support Gsync. That was my main query.

I'm not familiar with your monitor, it should have Gsync options in the monitor. I have an Acer XB270HU Gsync and i have those options to change to LMB/Gsync on or off.

Maybe reconnect the DP cable while the computer is on.

I just did this and the screen when black so i had to restart my pc. The only options I have are for ULMB and ULMB Pulse Width.

Has it anything to do with sleep then? Maybe try 'never turn off monitor' in power options.

Plugging my monitor into another display port on my gpu worked. I was wondering when you are gaming do you have v sync on or off? Cause im not sure which is better.
