Cannot enter BIOS on my HP 3300 SFF (potential (Dell) keyboard issue?)

Hello, me again with my crappy HP 3300 Small Form Factor prebuild.

Well since failing to install a new graphics card due to HP locking the hardware, I have learnt that getting into the BIOs on a computer with Intel HD4000 graphics, such as this, should allow me to dedicate up to 1gb to my video RAM, rather than the measly 32mb that is currently allocated.

The problem is I have followed all instructions but still cannot enter the BIOs on this computer. I am wondering if it could be an issue with my Dell keyboard, as the indicator lights on the keyboard do not light up until after the computer has started to boot, and I did a search and found a thread describing a similar issue with Dell keyboards.

Could it be that buying a new keyboard will allow me to enter the BIOs? Or have HP locked me out of the BIOs?

Thanks

Tried this but it didn't work.

I should probably add I do get text saying "keyboard error" during the black startup screen.

During the blue start-up screen I get 'Press Esc for Start-up menu' but this does not work.

Could it be my keyboard?

Update to this thread: I was able to get into the start up menu giving me a range of 1-10 options, including "Enable Bootlogging'.

Unfortunately I could get no further as my keyboard wouldn't allow me to select anything. (none of the lights on the keyboard were on, and the caps lock indicator wouldn't turn on or off)
