Hello friends,

I recently upgraded to WIndows 10 from WIndows 7 via upgrade program. I would like to control the fan speed and clocking for the radeon card(R9 280X 3gb black edition) in windows 10. In windows 7 I had this software which was installed along with graphics card driver. Now I have the graphics card driver from ATI, but the control software is missing.

It had options like Global Overdrive, where I could manage it. Now the only software I have is AMD gaming evolved. Any ideas where is that software gone or how can I reinstall it? Thank you.

Solution
In start type cnext.exe, this is Crimson. Not sure why it isnt being added to notifications or desktop right click. You can ask it to auto start with Windows by right clicking the start button > run > type shell:startup > drop and drag cnext from the start menu to this folder.

It seems to be a bug in the software, maybe report it to AMD when you load Crimson using the Report Problem link.

I have the latest drivers, I just cannot find that software itself, that's my problem.

Exactly, it is not there, that's the whole point of this question... Cannot find the software, I know it's not this software, you posted about crimson version, so I posted this screenshot which says I have crimson.

Windows 10 when you type cnext.exe, damn thing tries to search it in IE/Edge. I removed raptr and drivers package, reinstalled it. Now I have it, any idea where the location of the exe file is in C Drive? Thank you.

That's what I did, but it still opens IE. But it's solved now, so no problem.

Do you know the exact location? I have tried both Program files and Program FIles(X86).
