[SOLVED] Cannot fit IDE HDD

Hello everybody.
I have this very old HP Compaq nx9110 laptop that I am repairing just for the fun of learning hardware practice. All is well except that I cannot fit the IDE HDDin I do fit it in but when I turn the laptop on the Bios does not recognize the IDE HDD. It is the first time this happens to me. It looks to me that there is something wrong with the socket.

Some pins look twisted but I put them right.

Solution
That's a proprietary connector. The other half fits the standard IDE connector, then the two mate up. Unless you can locate the other half of the pair you have a doorstop there.
