Cannot get Asrock q1900-ITX to boot

The motherboard turns on, but nothing happens, keyboard doesn't power on (usually the num lock turns on). And the monitor doesn't see any vga signal.

I've seen many reviews where this motherboard failed to boot for people is their a fix?

I've already tried to clear the CMOS but it didn't fix the problem.

it was a memory problem, we used two corsair laptop RAM 2x2GB sticks and one of those sticks was faulty, so when we took that bad one out it worked perfectly.

So you have the same problem too?

Also, make sure you update to the latest bios first then see if it's a RAM issue. Because those cpus in those motherboards are so new that new bioses usually fix a ton of stuff.

Yes, I seem to have the same problem : the fans are running, the power LED is on, but the monitor doesn't see any VGA nor HDMI signal. The keyboard doesn't power on, and I have to maintain the power button pressed during a few seconds so that the computer stops.

Like you, I tried a ClearCMOS but it didn't do anything. I tried with another (working) PSU, same problem. I used a single Kingston RAM 4Go stick, and I also tried with another (working) 4Go stick, same problem. That's why I really think the motherboard is faulty :/ How can I update the BIOS without getting the motherboard to work ?

I solved my problem : As I use a single RAM stick, I have to use the "A1" slot...

Sorry for kicking an old thread, but was your problem ever solved? Just bought an q1900 and have the same problem. The board seems to turn on (fan starts spinning, usb blinking it's busy light, LAN led's blinking) but no output to any of the three options...
I have 1 RAM stick and cannot get another one easy.

Use Hynix branded ram. I tried 3-4 different memory brands and its the only one that works with zero issues. Tested with two 1gb modules and ordered two 2gb modules off ebay (waiting for mail).
