Cannot Get Dual Ultrawide Displays to Work Unless I Start PC With Just 1 Then Plug Other In After Login

Sorry if the title lacks clarity.

My problem concerns connecting two 25" ultrawide displays. I am only able to get both displays to work properly when I start my PC with just 1 display plugged into my graphics card then, upon signing into my account, plugging in the second cable to my graphics card.

Monitors
2x LG 25UM58 25 inch Ultrawide IPS Monitor (2560 x 1080, HDMI Out)

PC
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 SSC GAMING ACX 3.0, 2GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 3.0 GHz Eight Core AM4 Processor
Mobo: MSI ProSeries AMD Ryzen B350 DDR4 VR Ready HDMI USB 3 micro-ATX Motherboard (B350M MORTAR)

The displays are connected to computer as follows:
Monitor A HDMI Out -> HDMI-HDMI -> HDMI In on GPU
Monitor B HDMI Out -> HDMI-HDMI -> HDMI-Display Port -> Display Port In on GPU

I have had success keeping the Monitor B set up plugged in, starting up my computer, logging in, then plugging in the Monitor A setup.

The HDMI-Display Port adapter is PASSIVE. I cannot find out whether this is causing the problem, but my intuition says that if I can start the PC and use the Passive cable fine then there must be a working solution so I don't need to unplug then replug in my cable every time.

Please also note that as soon as I put my PC to sleep, neither monitor works.

Prior to this set up I was running 3x 1920x1080 displays fine.

I would appreciate any insight into this problem.

Thank you very much,
C
