[SOLVED] Cannot get into bios after clr cmos gigabyte ga-3800n

Hi. I have a gigabyte motherboard with on board cpu. I wanted to disable fast boot so short circuited the clr cmos jumper. I now however cannot get my pc to go past the gigabyte startup logo. Cannot enter bios or windows. Have removed and replaced the RAM Still no luck. Any help greatful received thanks

Try moving your keyboard to another usb socket or try using a PS2 keyboard if you have one. If it doesn't work then you may be able to boot into the backup BIOS. There is some info here that may help.

Did you move the CMOS jumper back to its original position?

The board will not POST with the jumper in the "clear" position. It is meant to be moved for several seconds and then moved back.
