So I recently built a new Skylake PC, and I used the ASUS Z170-AR motherboard along with I7 6700k. I install windows and all that stuff, and then it comes to my drivers. I install all my drivers except the Intel Chipset ones which I cannot get to install. Each time I try to install it it says its successful and asks for a reboot, and next time I use the driver application it says its not installed.

To makes matters work, the internet does not work. I plugged an ethernet cable into the back port, but the computer does not detect anything. When I tried to trouble shoot it says I need to reinstall network drivers and something about Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) l219-V adapter driver not being installed.
I have tried the following to attempt to solve the issue:
-Reinstall lan drivers.
-Reinstall every driver
-Reboot my modem and router.
-Reboot PC 20 times
-Reconnecting the ethernet cable
-Flash the BIOS to a newer version
-Download intel ethernet drivers from the ASUS website for the latest versions. Each time I do that it says that the Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) l219-V is not the right platform for the driver.
-Use a wifi adapter to temporarily gain internet access so the driver can install itself. I get the same problem as above.

I have ran out of ideas. Anyone know what I should do?
Thanks
