Hi, I am building a PC for a friend to play Elden ring. Went to download drivers, cant install the latest Dch driver for Nvidia GPU. GIves me an error saying "This dch driver package is not compatible with the currently installed version of windows" and with the standard version of the driver, Elden ring crashes at launch. How can I fix this? is it even the driver? I dont know what other issue it would be. My specs for the game should be more than enough to LAUNCH it...

I have researched, and one issue said I needed to update windows, (pic included.) and my buddy did solution 1. and we still can't get the driver installed.

Why don't you just update Windows via the Settings app? Right-click the Windows logo on the taskbar > Click "Settings" > Click "Update & Security" > Click "Check for Updates."

Also, you can try to update the drivers with the NVIDIA GeForce Experience software: Update Drivers & Optimal Playable Settings | NVIDIA GeForce Experience
