I have a laptop with a broken screen that I have been using for the past 5 months, the windows 7 install is getting old so I'm trying to reinstall on another drive and put it on the laptop. I use it on an external monitor at all times, it limited me to not having access to the bios but that's no problem, until I noticed on my new windows drive that it won't output video unless the video drivers are installed, so it is not putting out video, I tried to install the drivers with the drive in another laptop but it refuses to install because its not the correct hardware, what can I do? I need this laptop for a spare while my new video card comes in. I do still have to old drive with all things installed if that helps.

try to see through broken laptop screen and install drivers if its totally dead then u must get it to a laptop repairer to replace your laptop's lcd to new/used one in working condition of same model they always have spare parts that's the way.
