Cannot install drivers

Hello,
Yesterday I installed a new copy of Windows 7 64 bit on my laptop. When I checked the device manager, it said I was missing 5 drivers: PCI simple communications driver, SM bus controller, Network Controller, Ethernet controller and Universal Serial Bus controller. When I try to install any of these drivers , It says "Cannot install drivers, no Intel adapters present on this computer". I've searched through the internet and I have found none of the suggestions have worked.
