Cannot install Extrenal Hard Drive

I have a problem installing SEAGATE external hard drive.

What do you mean by installing? You normally connect it to an eSATA or a USB port, format it if need be, etc.

Yes, I connect it to USB port, only I bought it 2 years ago and used it not more than 4 or 5 times now that got problem and cannot view my video kept in the your ext; hard disk drive. But message is showing that the hard disk is working properly. If I need to do format please send me message how to format it.

If it contains files that you need, then you don't want to format it. If you used it before, then it was working properly. Have you tried connecting it to a different USB port or another system?
