Hello,

i found my previous laptop. I was gonna install new windows 10, but the drive was bitlocker encrypted. So i formatted the drive in Linux live cd GPart live. Formatted it to ntfs.

But i still cant install new OS. Its name is "basic partition 0", and i get error reason :GPT.

Do i need to make it MBR? Can I do that in my linux live cd?

I fixed it. I made a whole new partition table as MSDOS, everything got Unallocated, and then i just crrated a new partition at the beginning of windows installatiom :)

Haha, nice i found my own way to do it

Make a new windows installation device. It should be attempting to write to a GPT partition. MBR is an older standard. You should still be able to use the same key.
