Cannot Install Windows 7 Ultimate From USB or CD!!!!!

Hey Guys,
So I built my First gaming computer about 2-3 months ago. I built this PC one part at a time because of college budget.I have a ASUS A88x-Plus motherboard, FM2 x4 760k processor, 4Gb ddr3 running at 1333 Mhz, nvidia gt 610 video card, 520W power supply, and lastly a 1 TB HDD. I made a 16Gb flash drive bootable from the Command Prompt. copied over the files from the ISO after I mounted the ISO. Everything went over fine. I plugged the flash drive into the computer, booted into bios changed the boot order. I copy files fine but when I expand windows files I get any where from 5-100 percent and I encounter an error that says "make sure the sources are available" or when I complete expanding files during the installing updates I will BSOD with different error codes. Then today I went out and bought a CD/DVD drive along with blank DVDs, used poweriso to make this DVD bootable and I will not expand any windows files. Any ideas guys?

Use rufus if you have an ISO http://rufus.akeo.ie/

And use a USB 2 port to install it after

copied over the files from the ISO after I mounted the ISO.

It doesn't work like that.
Rufus, or the Microsoft USB tool.

I used the windows 7 USB/DVD tool as well and got the same results, except my error message would be that a directory was corrupt on the USB drive

Solved the issue was a bad RAM stick, now I am up an running fine
