Alright. I've been trying with my friend to play a game. For some reason I cannot see any servers on the list and when I host it just says "Waiting for matchmaking servers" I cannot join him directly through steam neither.

I've tried:
Restarting my PC
Restarting my router
Resetting my router
Turning off Windows Firewall
Unblocking ports that Steam uses through firewall
Unblocking the game through firewall
Enabling IPv6 in my router settings.

Here are my specs:
Mobo: AsRock Fatal1ty B150 Gaming K4
CPU: Intel Skylake i5-6500 LGA1151 Quad Core @ 3,2GHz 6MB Cache
RAM: Kingston 8GB(2x4GB) HyperX Fury DDR4 2133 MHz
GPU: Asus ROG STRIX AMD Radeon RX 480 OC 8GB
OS: Windows 10 Home, Finnish

Have you made sure that UPnP is turned on in the router?
It could cause problems with certain games that require an open port in order to join other multiplayer sessions.
You can probably find it somewhere in your modem/router's GUI, though don't ask me where, it depends on the exact model.

UPnP is turned on.

Multiple games actually. Civilization 6 and Stellaris is where we have ran in to this. We've managed to play other Paradox games fine though and Civilization 5 fine too. We gave up on Civ 6 already when it launched but now Stellaris seems to do this...

Could a thing called IPTV have something to do with this as it is disabled or cannot connect or whatever what I've seen in my router settings.

Uninstall and reinstall the problem games and see if that fixes. Possibly corrupted patch work. Other games are working fine though and your network connection should be fine. Windows Firewall sometimes can be a pain, but if it is working right and is properly configured as you say, I dont think that is the issue. Usually when a new game is installed and run for the first time, the Windows Firewall should have given you a prompt asking if you want to allow it access to the network.

Not sure about IPTV, but you can enable that and test to see.

I'll re-install the game now.
There's a thing that I cannot just enable IPTV. My router settings allow me to "test" the IPTV and it comes up with results:
DSL Test Succeeded

ATM Test Failed
No ATM activity detected on your DSL line.

Ethernet Test Failed
No Ethernet activity detected.

However my Internet Test Succeeds with everything.
I'm not sure what it is so I will just ignore it 😛

I honestly dont think IPTV is going to be an issue. Ethernet test failure though might be it though, but thats assuming you are wired to the network. If wired, check your cable going to the router or wall, make sure it has no kinks or serious nicks in it. Maybe even re-install the driver for your ethernet adapter. If not using ethernet, it may just be that you get the error because its not connected. If you are running on WiFi, then dont worry about ethernet.

Oh lovely!

Great how technology likes to frustrate us at times. Any way, so long as it is working, Im calling this a win for the team.

Happy gaming!
