hey so to start my custom built computer I loaded windows 8 on it but It was a version where there was no product key (because I got it for free from one of my friends) so I decided to just go and buy windows 8.1 as a disc, so I try and boot from the disc to load the OS and when I do, it pops up with a screen saying "select driver to load from" or something like that, I have watched tons of tutorials and nobody has that issue, instead they just enter their product key. My computer doesn't give me the option to enter the key, just says "select driver to load" and there are no drivers anywhere so I can't load the driver it needs. Is this because of windows 8 being on there before hand? And if so how do I reset everything so that my computer that everything is deleted, including my OS

Solution
you have to go to your bios screen and set boot sequence to boot from dvd drive first. then select the hdd in the list of storage devices, chose to format it. do quick format (you will lose all data on the device, this has to be done because the install has been flagged as not genuine. the pop the cd in and restart device and do a clean install.

Sorry? So what menu do I select the SSD in? Could you explain it in more detail?

Alright I figured it out from a YouTube video! But I have another question, I bought a SSD and a hardrive, but my SSD is the only thing that shows up
