Cannot log into ubuntu because login doesn't appear

Hi! I hid the main login account box accidentally and now I can only login into the "other" account. However, I don't know the password because I never made one. I wanted the main login to appear only so I saved something in the lightdm file. If anyone has any idea of how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

I suggest the console (Ctlt-Alt-F2 to get into, Ctrl-Alt-F7 to get out)

sudo passwd user

Enter new Password

Ctrl-Alt-F7 to get back to GUI
