Cannot Open .docx Word files in File Explorer in Windows 10. Please help

Hi,
I can't open .docx files in File Explorer in windows 10. When I right click on a .docx file or try to open the Word 2010 file by left clicking on it, File explorer stops responding. How do I fix this?

Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE!!!
I found the solution:
Open Windows explorer / file explorer. Click on the view tab. if preview is selected, unselect it. Then reopen File explorer. Everything works fine again. Simple. Thanks anyway.
