[SOLVED] Cannot open file in installer

Hello
I am installing Mac OS X on an iMac G4. When I open the installer disc .iso file within OS X 10.2 Jaguar, I see many folders. I click on the Install Mac OS X folder icon. When I click on it it tells me there is no default app to open it with? I've installed OS X Jaguar previously on a different machine from OS 9.2 and the Install Mac OS worked OK. How do I open this?

Where did you get the ISO image file from, and what version of OS X is it? Apple do not supply OS X as ISO images as far as I am aware.

I must not have typed that correctly. It's not an ISO file. It's just a disc with a purple/black X that says Mac OS X Leopard on it. By the way, it turns out the disc was just dusty and wasn't reading correctly. I cleaned it and it works. Thanks!
