Hello!
I am pretty new to this but I recently built my first PC for mainly music production and eventually some mid-level gaming with the following specs

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
MSI H97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 M
Patriot Viper 3 Low Profile Blue 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Toshiba Q300 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Enermax OSTROG ATX Mid Tower Case
Logisys 650W gold 80+ power supply
No graphics card yet.
WIndows 10

For the most part everything seems to work. But, if I power off the PC overnight the next morning pressing the power button does nothing. If I remove the motherboard battery or the RAM for a few minutes I am able to get power and use the computer for hours. During this time I can power on and off without problems. However, if I leave the power off for too long it will not power on at all. This has happened maybe 4 times now. The last two times I just removed the RAM and now I am unable to enter bios either from bootup or using the MSI go2bios in windows; the bios screen will with load partially and the PC will freeze. Also, the motherboard speaker does not appear to function as far as I can tell.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Sounds like either defective RAM of a PSU problem. Do you have another computer you can stick the RAM in to see if it is the problem and if you are able to get a computer to boot with that RAM can you run a memory tester on it like:

Other things you can try is a different Power Supply. It could be your power supply is not delivering the right power when cold but when it warms up it works.

The last thing it could be is your motherboard. If it has a micro crack in it then it could work after pressing on it which reconnects the traces and makes it work. Once warm it expands and keeps the traces connected until it either cools again or is pressed on like when you replace the RAM.

The are the tree places I would look.
