My asus vg248qe just arrived after a long time of ordering it
i used the DVI D Dual link cable that was included with the box to connect it to my ge force gtx 750 ti graphics card, I head to my nividia control panel to change the refresh rate to 144 hz, i change it and then everything just goes blurry and it looks like something is wrong, also the monitor says : Cable Incorrect ,Please use DVI dual link cable ( which is what i am using)
So i am stuck at 60hz right now and cant change it , i have updated my graphics card to the last update , still nothing , restarted my pc, unplugged and replugged like 10 times, nothing at all
could it be that i am using windows 10? or the cable is damaged in a way?

That's a DVI-I port, not DVI-D which you need I believe for full 144hz.

so what is the solution you think? i have to get a different graphics card? or get an extension?
and this is exactly what happens when i put it to 144 hz, stuff goes blurry and thats what the monitor says
