cannot see new SSD in device management or disk manager

I have a new SSD and I want to move my existing OS from an old HDD to the new SSD but disk manager cannot see it but it is appearing in my BIOS menu...

What do I do?

What kind of SSD is it M.2 or SATA ?

Is it in device manager?
windows 10? look at storage spaces. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12438/windows-10-storage-spaces
