Cannot start computer!

Hey, guys. I'm having an issue with an old CyberPower laptop.

When I start it up, it freezes in the BIOS startup splash screen, I am unable to get into the BIOS, and I see visual artifacts on the bottom of the screen... is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need to go ahead and buy a new computer?

How old is the laptop? Is it running on battery power or is it plugged in?

It is plugged in and it is four years old.

What BIOS messages are displayed leading up to the freeze?

I have a loading splash screen and am unsure on how to disable it is the issue preventing me from letting you know that... I know the progress bar is about 65% complete, if that helps at all... and I cannot get into the BIOS or get to the boot choice screen either one.
