Cannot start the "Help and Support service".

However, when i try to start the service i get this Error msg. "Could not start the Help and support service on local computer." "Error 1083: The executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement the service.

System: XP Home Version 2002 SP3
Computer: Dell Dimension 4550
Pentium 4 CPU 2.00GHz
1.99GHz, 2.00GB of RAM

No guarantees here, but it worked for me.

Copy/past this in notepad. Save as "All files" and name it something like 'fixhelp.bat"

Run this and cross your fingers.

start /w helpsvc /register
