Cannot turn on CPU but USB Peripheral light up

Hey guys, I have just assembled my build on saturday and it went without a hitch. However, both yesterday and today, there have been at least once occasion whereby my CPU is unable to startup/lightup, yet my mouse and lights up alright. Can somebody help me? 🙁

Check video card cable. What exactly happens when you turn it on when it does not work? Are you overclocking anyting? Did you check to make sure the power supply has enough juice to power the system with plenty of headroom and that it's a good quality power supply? Reseat RAM, video card, drive cables.
