cannot uninstall expired antivirus

Iam using windows 7,i used trust port antivirus and it was expired now iam unable to uninstall it.after clicking uninstall in control panel a popup error shows as (messages file"C:\programfiles(X86)\trustport\unins000.msg"is missing please correct the problem or obtain a new copy of the program.
i went to program files(X86) to delete the trust port files but it asking administrator password to delete it.
pls help me.

This may sound crazy - but you might have to install it again, then uninstall it. If a file is missing or corrupt, you won't be able to uninstall it.

Looks like they've got a removal tool. But firefox says its an untrusted connection.

You can also try this:
Make sure that you are viewing all file extensions and all files in Explorer, then

go to where that file should be C:\programfiles(X86)\trustport\unins000.msg and create a file called unins000.msg

Then try and uninstall the program again.

i tried to create a new folder, but it is showing that "you require permission to do this"

From a security troubleshooting forum, the moderator states he uses a standalone Uninstaller. It only does one thing, uninstall programs.

ESET Security recommends uninstalling all security programs before installing, using their Uninstaller: ESET AV Removal Tool

I haven't had a reason to use these yet, but I wish I had known of them!
