I cannot use FF in the latest update with all its constant ads taking half of my screen. I cannot even get to ad block and install it. I cannot uninstall FF in control panel cause its opened and i cannot find a way to close it. This is disgusting. What the hell is going on here with FF and its recent updates Is this rediribution in order to keep donating? I cannot even get into FF settings to do some functions that recommend to get rid of the problems. I am frustrated.

not having any problems with it whatsoever.
is functioning as it always has after latest updates.

you must have entered a malicious site that is spamming ads
or your installation has just malfunctioned.

cannot uninstall FF in control panel cause its opened and i cannot find a way to close it.
enter Task Manager and close the processes related to Firefox.
then uninstall.

Definitely more a case of "user error" than a Firefox issue. Been running Firefox since long before it was renamed from Netscape Navigator and have never encountered such a problem>>>
iNTERESTING RESPONSES, SO FAR.....ALL ACKnowledge that i have a problem and one even said "User error

Interesting responses!! So far all acknowledge I have a problem and one even suggested an "User error" with no offer or suggestion on how to get out of this mess. I opened my laptop and for the first time, FF did not open itself. but i get the usual problems for MacAfee and Microsoft asking me to sign an account with them and my problems would be solved, As far as I know I did nothing to create this problem it just occured with FF update and usually that mess's up FF, Now that FF did not automatically opened this time I can delete it, but who can tell me how to avoid this ad infestation covering half of the screen again and prevent me from using it. I was considering in buying ad BLOCK to see if that would end my problems,

you're not reading very well then,
enter Task Manager and close the processes related to Firefox.
then uninstall.

Firefox itself does not offer ads or spam any content to your desktop.

this only happens when using it to visit specific malicious web sites
or when having malware or other ad spamming software running on your system.

to avoid this;
do not visit shady sites,
do not download random files or any pirated content,
do not run any questionable software that may contain malware,
and keep a good anti-virus/security software running regular scans of your system.

Thank you for the sound advice, unfortunately or fortunately, I never had the opportunity to do those "not to do functions" as you suggested. In fact the only programs I did download were Firefox and Thunderbird, BTW, I thought FF offered a free AD Block on a limited basis and then the offer to buy?

I thought FF offered a free AD Block
an ad-blocker browser extension just blocks pop-up ads from individual web pages.

unless you were browsing some malicious web site they do not throw tons of ads all over your screen all at once.
constant ads taking half of my screen
what you experienced is more common with malware spamming ads to your desktop, not coming from the browser itself.

it's possible that this malware may be/have been embedded into the browser installation, but that doesn't happen often and the problem would continue until you either removed the malware and/or reinstalled the software all together from a fresh Mozilla download.
